Just had a ridiculous phone call with O2 'helpless desk'!

They supplied me with a mobile phone - free. With it came the Nokia software. Using the bluetooth connection I have been getting on the internet with my laptop, via the inbuilt phone modem. It's slow, but enables me to collect e-mail and do urgent things on beating days when at the cabin.

I rang O2 as my bill has just arrived. I get so many kb of download free. I wanted to extend this as some call charges listed are quite high. O2 would only say "It is against he terms and conditions to use the modem in your phone in this way". They wouldn't say why .... just that's how it is!

I don't want to use the poxy little screen on my phone to access WAP .... some sites are only on the www, not wap any way!

The Nokia system allows me to just click a button on the laptop and make the connection - but O2 say, without reason, I mustn't do that. So, in this 'communication age' I can't use my phone to communicate in the ways that it's made to by Nokia.

I give up!
