|
|
here we go again, a NOBS member has suggested a silent auction to raise funds for NOBS- an excellent idea but why do they need the money with over 9,000 members - ordinary at £5, shoots at £10, then they should be awash with cash! And dont forget all the merchandise sales at shows- must be thousands.
Considering that another organisation (pm admin for details) can achieve the same ends very quickly and doesnt charge a single PENNY why do they need yet more money?
perhaps some more software or hardware?

He he
You know I am no longer a member and my IP address has been banned mate!
Some of them really get abusive at the mere mention of my name, yet others are perfectly reasonable and behave normally when they meet me.
The Royal County game fair was an example, when a NOBS RO came said hello and was pleased when I said it was busy!
The main thing is we all want more people, especially newcomers and young people, to get out with us in the counryside.
PuBS first two beaters courses are now full and dates will soon be announced, and its all FREE.
PS just thought perhaps PuBS could do a silent auction where people bid for me NOT TO TURN UP!! |
