Good news for all NOBs members! As from 01/10/2009. All renewals and new memberships will receive a £2.50 voucher from Skinners to use against any 15kg bag of Skinners dog food.

Now will Skinners issue a load of vouchers to NOBS to cover their claimed membership of 9,500 +?

Could be embarassing if Skinners find only a few are redeemed as the actual paid up membership is far, far less.

Bet that a lot get given away at shows etc to cover up the discrepancy!!

Or there will be some few very well fed dogs at NOBS HQ!!

Well they are not open with people on how the organisation is a company, ban people who ask questions, charge money and then fail to place people on shoots, claim 9,500 members when the actualPAID up membership is but a fraction of that figure and so mislead sponsors and advertisers in their newsletters,try to disrupt other forums which are working to put people in the countryside, are arrogant in their belief and state that they are the ONLY organisation to link shoots and beaters etc,
and thats without me really thinking!!

NOBS FORUM
Claims 5366 members - they have at least got a grip on the husband hunters and blue pill providers which inlated their numbers in the past, but there were only four posts on their forum since I signed off last night.
hardly a vibrant forum then!
And its a free forum too, except you cannot post or view certain sections until you cough up a £5 to join main NOBS - seems to have backfired that ploy!!
Still they have eliminated all but a few trolls so it did have a plus side- just sad that they also eliminated many of their prolofic posters too!!

Getit has only a few members but records an average 100 hits a day - from the same people - most who arent members.
i suppose that the NOBS Forum mods have to spend their time doing something, and then we have all the Regional Officers and Local Representatives to keep busy too.
Dont forget to buy your raffle tickets for a beaters wagon - if you win you will need a big 4x4 to tow it - or a tractor!!

Two more months until the deadline for submission of NOBS accounts to Companies House - as soon as they are filed Ill publish a copy on getit again.
Then all will be able to see just how big NOBS really is, sadly the income from subscriptions is not shown separately- I wonder why?
A few details below, full accounts on getit for 2008

Income 22414, sponsorship 5994, Total 28408 (2007 24104)
Expenditure 23823

Not audited figures as the Directors have certified it unecessary under the Companies Act, and the people paying subs arent members and cant enforce an audit as they are deemed customers.

Other organisations give a comprehensive breakdown of their income, merchandise, subs, donations etc etc why not NOBS?
