Why is it not made clear anywhere on the NOBS website or forum that NOBS is a Limited Company, with an unaccountable and unelected Board of Directors?
So called members are in fact customers and have no say in the running of either the main NOBS or NOBS Forum despite paying fees.
The Countryside Alliance displays the fact that is a company limited by guarantee in all its publications, emails and circulars etc., as do most other such organisations.
Why such secrecy?

Just heard a rumour that NOBS LTD. may be recruiting for a new CEO.
Nothing positive just a little nudge, nudge, and wink, wink, know what I mean.
Shame if true, he seemed to be getting a grip on things, clearing out some of the dead wood etc. _________________ NickCordery

Reading various posts on the PigeonWatchForum is interesting. There is a thread just on NOBS and it seems that their admin hasnt improved one little bit.
Still people waiting on membership cards etc, many still waiting to hear about opportunities for beating etc.
Not surprising that they dont get many vacancies offered them if the common reaction of shoots around me is repeated across the country!!
Charging people money and raising their hopes then dashing them by failure to communicate is not a good way to promote an organisation.
Still they will use that hoary old chestnut - "well we are only volunteers".
Pity that some of their Board of Directors dont actually DO something to improve matters.
One person was apparently told that they didnt have time to do things because of the SACS deal on insurance!!!
Well they had been promising an insurance deal since foundation, so things should improve in four years time.
Despite assurances by SACS and NOBS that beaters or pickers up are covered despite being paid I have received two legal opinions that they ARE NOT.
Hope it never comes to a claim when we will all find out. _________________ NickCordery

Countdown to NOBS Accounts update when we will all see the actual figures for the last year, file date is mid November at the latest or they breach company law.
