Just a quick note, i have become a offical supporter of nobs i've been a member for a while.

Another deluded person who is supporting NOBS, when will they realise the organisation is secretive and unaccountable to people who pay membership fees - why dont they concentrate on getting people onto shoots?

Maybe people have woken up to the complete pointless scam such courses are??
Ask around and some shoot captain or 'keeper will take you on and let you beat free of charge and show you the ropes.
If you are in fact a complete kNOB you won't get asked back.
If you are half useful you will get a place in the line and possibly even a few quid to cover expenses and you will definitely learn more then on any daft expensive course held in a made up environment.

At least the courses run by PuBS are on a real shoot on a shootday and are designed to get people out of towns and introduce them to the countryside, with free meals and refreshments and an oven ready brace of birds afterwards- and they do it for FREE!
Hugh Fernley dingle dangle charges £175!!!
NOBS charged £75 but allowing for NOBS inflation and cash shortage it will be up this season - but perhaps they cant find anyone left in NOBS who is competent enough to run one?
