I volunteered to write a weekly diary of beating and picking up for both the Shooting UK website and Shooting Times itself.

My CV- I have shot rifles and shotguns - from deer calibres to 20 bore- for years, wildfowled,been game shooting, been sea, coarse fishing - inc competition and specimen, fly fished for trout and salmon, tie my own flies- beat and /or pick up on large commercial shoots to small family shoots, travel wildly to fill vacancies, work springers and a lab, and basically have a load of fun.

Reply to date - NONE!

Even a "no thanks" would have been nice!

Annoying thing is some of the shooting media are happy to publish articles by people with far less experience than me - not hat that in itself is wrong but does the old pals act work there?

Perhaps I belong to the wrong organisation?

But then Im banned from the other one!!!

Actually I was eventually informed by their then "Moderator in Chief", that I wasnt banned merely suspended.
Unfortunately their lack of courtesy in telling me that fact, as they have done with many many others over the years, meant that I had resigned from their main organisation (NOBS) straight away.
As my wife was also a member I tried to find out what was going on using her sign on details, then she was banned too- sorry suspended- semantics !!!
Our ISPs were blocked.
Anyway the good to come out of that phase of our lives was the foundation of PuBS - and its all FREE!!
As for their MIC - hes disappeared off the face of the earth!
