A person calling themselves "Simon", the same name as one of Shooting Community Admin - a site from which I resigned as I seemed to be attracting undesirables and that was detracting from the enjoyment of other members of that forum, posted a complaint on the providers of this and my other free forums open forum site.
They used masking software to hide their true addy and location so must be aware that I use Statcounter- no secrecy there- the icon is displayed openly. They left a trail from statcounter and I followed it to find their posts.
Their allegations are unfounded, my provider considers my actions in allowing other site admin access to my Statcounter perfectly reasonable given the circumstances.
Members complete details for their membership files and enter such information as they wish which can be viewed by anyone. Confidential records such as addresses are maintained on a separate PC which is not connected to the internet.
Why oh why do they bother?
Is it because we are successful?
Cant they come here and ask or reply to questions?

Simon of Shooting Community is ruled out!!
Three people are possible as they have used masking software in the past, all have the necessary knowledge and intellect- in fact they are far too clever- which makes their subterfuge so clear!!
Should confirmation of their real identity become known then be assured that i will publish it widely in every forum to which i belong and should they be moderators or admin in any forum then i shall do my utmost to get them expelled.
If they are in a postion of responsibility then I shall inform their employers of their actions.

A complaint was made to the Data Protection Registrar on the same matter, who after an explanation suggested that a statement be made in Forum Rules that other fora had access to IP addresses etc., to ensure that people were aware of that fact- the matter was closed by the DPR.
