Oh dear my reputation goes before me
ROFLMFAO
Have I touched a nerve over at NOBS?
Please note I have amended my signature so every post is attributed to me!
Perhaps Nemesis wouldlike to comment on all the countless queries regarding what happened to:
Items donated for raffles
Subscriptions donated by several shooting magazines
Freebies at game fairs
Actual paid up membership numbers
How many Regional Officers and Local reps have actually paid
Just look through the various posts and add any Ive missed.
Nemesis, thank you for your frankness- cane we now expect a frank and open debate on NOBS and what it really does?
Your account will continue.

I personally am unaware of any of the things which you mention.
I suggest that you be very careful what you imply as one of our NOBS Directors is a solicitor and will take any action necessary to refute any untrue allegations which you, or any other person, makes in open forum.
It is just such tittle tattle that made it necessary to restrict access to NOBS Forum to those who genuinely wanted to further the success of our oranisation.
NOBS attracts attention from those envious of its success - it is financially sound with an ever increasing membership of well over 9,000.
It would be wrong to say that there are not disagreements over policy or how things should be managed but we sort them out amicably and in house.
Our one aim is for people to get out beating and picking up and enjoy our countryside.
Sadly others are trying desperately to hijack our aims, they will not succeed.
NOBS were here first, have the support of the media and our many sponsors and will not let some jumped up has been divert us from our path. _________________ Dorset Based proud to serve NOBS |

| nemesis, what a load of bull s---.most new members on here are ex or existing nobs members who are disillusioned by what is and is not happening at nobs, namely people wanting beating/picking up who have paid there £5 and hear nothing, and when ask ing whynot are told to contact there r.o.or the nobs office .as this is only open for a few hours each day this is not always possible.THIS IS WHY PEOPLE ARE LEAVING OR BEING BANNED FROM NOBS.i realise that you as i believe passionatly about our sport and helping people get into it and long may we carry ondoing so.we will meet again one day and discuss our beliefs over a pint or two |

I think you are not aware of anything relevant to the history, or in denial, or brainwashed.
NOBS was her first?? It does not stop them being crap at it though does it.
Media support, make the most of it while it lasts. the media is a fickle beast and likely to turn at any time, especially with the wieght of feeling your lot are generating and the repeated letters a certain editor is receiving.
Waving the solicitor stick again are you?? Go on then, take this all to court because there is a heap of hard evidence.
Where are all the goods donated, where has all the cash gone and where are the receipts for the software and computer goods purchased??
Theres 3 good ones for a kick off. _________________ What do you call an animal thats does not run away from or fight with its enemies???

You have failed to respond to my pm's regarding your ID so I have no option but to post in Open Forum, you leave me no choice.
Kindly explain how you have managed to change your ID - this facility is restricted to Admin ie ME, and is a secure part of this Forum?
Your previous ID was nestfeatherer. _________________ NickCordery

Maybe if you adressed the PM's to Stoatly Different they would come through??? I got bored of nestfeatherer.
Just a little illustration of how insecure admin. sections on phBB boards can be. I'd change your password too.
Just go to administration forum by clicking the blue title on the lower right of the bottom of the page, enter your username and password, I can remind you if you've forgotten it and use the boxes at the top of the page Admin.control to change it.
Make this one less predictable though.
A grim choice. Does his brother know ??? _________________ What do you call an animal thats does not run away from or fight with its enemies???

Ive taken your advice to change my password and i shall raise the matter with myff admin too.
I have always known that most so called secure areas were vulnerable to people with sufficient intellect and ability and i have even been accused of being paranoid by some people in the past.
Subsequent events proved that even Admin forums are not secure!!
I can reassure any getitt posters that I personally dont read pms and I dont really care if others do, so if you want to pass on anything which may be confidential then do it by email.
Ive said nothing in pm that I wouldnt post in forum. _________________ NickCordery

One of the other lot used their favourite dogs name as their password, the one they never stopped blathering about on the forum (when it was worth looking at). That just makes it too easy really.
Another lot uses a random password generator but not everyone uses it and sticks to tradition. Another easy door to open. Especially when they use the same one on a dozen forums.
hacking is very hard, using a predictable password is easy.
Sorry to und ermine your security but it got your attention and I promise I didn't read any PM's, not even the one about the cider drinking nymphomaniac you fed with sausages at the MGF. oops _________________ What do you call an animal thats does not run away from or fight with its enemies???

I shall see how long he will tolerate someone who will put the TRUE situation at NOBS.
No doubt my account and ISP will soon be banned as he will brook no one else's point of view.
We at NOBS are all volunteers trying to work hard to earn our living, not easy in the current economic climate, using what little spare time we have to help NOBS assist people on going beating and picking up.
After all a £5 is less than two pints at the pub, and look what opportunities it opens up for you to go places where the public are denied access. NOBS new insurance deal can be included for only another £15.
Marvellous value.
It costs money to set up a computerised office for membership records and a massive database of people seeking places on shoots.
NOBS also publish books to help people and run courses to train them as well, all this costs money which is why they have to make charges. |
Yes it cost over £14k - funnily enough the job went to a friend of the secretary WITHOUT being offered out to tender - which I believe breaches numerous company's act laws |
