Ive had so many bollickings over the years both cyber and for real Ive lost count.
If justified then I take it, if not then war breaks out!!

On forums it is essential that any problems are dealt with promptly for the benefit of all parties concerned and hopefully resolved amicably.

I still have hard copies and on disc comments made about me, my intentions and even questioning my sanity, accusing me of being paranoid.
Subsequent events proved me to be more than correct for warnings given.
I am still not satisied with the outcome of various events despite promises that I would be kept informed and advised of the perpetrators.

In life one has to have a degree of trust in people.

All my sc accounts have been deleted thankfully and they can now get on with their little world.
However, from information that I have received, their security measures on their Mods and Admins Forum havent improved and it seems that others who should not have access do in fact read confidential posts which are not in open forum.
The tone of the comments therein arent much different from those made about me personally at an earlier breach.
Why not debate in open forum when all can see what is going on and make their own minds up?

As the subject of the posts which were hacked, and they were less than complimentary at best about me , my intentions and despite me warning that pms were not secure and then to find that admin and mods forums were not secure and despite offers of resignation by one of the admin posters, promisees to inform me of the identity of the hacker even if against that forum policy etc etc, and to no avail at all, do you wonder if I feel somewhat cross?
If as I suspect the person concerned is a senior member of another forum, which seems to have sc admin running shit scared of its clout, then why wonder at my concerns?
Just why cannot they, as it seems to be the case, fulfil their promises to me?
GUTLESS AND SPINELESS SPRING TO MIND.

Bland, waste of space in fact, may be more than apposite descriptiion of their forum nowadays, Dogs and Dummies seem to have usurped their status and many of their members.

Nick,

As you know I told you who I believed the perpetrator of those events was. I believed he was a former senior member of another forum.

I have never retracted or denied that fact.

There was however no tangible proof made available to me, if it was ever there.

I made my comments in private and you have had my apology in writing and in person, which you accepted at the time. As you say I did also offer to resign and you insisted that was not necessary.

I guess by coming here you will retract your gutless and spineless comments as I am here in my own name answering your questions directly!

If you have any evidence to substantiate your claims of weak security perhaps you would like to pass them on to me so that I can look into them and resolve them for the good of all our members.

All very well to say that I should advise of the identity of any perpetrator, but that presuppose that I know their identity and in view of past history why should I bother?
I took promises made at face value, and it appears that I have been misled, as the identity of the perpetrator IS KNOWN to SC admin apparently, but in order to have a quiet life they failed to fulfil promises and may even have misled me intentionally to obfuscate the actual truth.
As I have been threatened with legal action for naming the person originally named by one of SC admin, later denied, why do you wonder at some bitterness.
Avoiding the issue will not resolve it.
Unless sc admin can substantiate their lies then I will continue my campaign, at best all members of SC should be concerned that their site is not secure.
I run several forums and find little need for moderation, preferring to let topics run, arseholes and trolls are soon apparent to all.

Some people may like to appear as chummy mates but my experience indicates the opposite, pomposity, self righteousness and a patronising attitude are to be abhorred by any right minded person.
Get it all out in the open and end of problem

I never mislead you Nick.

I also made no promises, no proof was ever available to me.

If any threats of legal action have been made then that is an issue for the forum or individual, but it certainly not SC issuing threats of legal action.

As you say get it in the open, that is why I am here, I have answered your questions to the best of my knowledge and truthfully. If I had anything to hide I could simply not register and offer any answers.

So now its in the open is it end of problem as you state?
